Real-Time Clock for Scheduled Events

The T-7705AC features a battery-backed real-time clock, allowing scheduled events to execute even if network connectivity is temporarily lost. Perfect for classroom bell scheduling, timed announcements, and automated AV system power-up/down.

Product Overview – T-7705AC

The T-7705AC is a specialized wall-mounted IP terminal that serves as the central control hub for smart classrooms, meeting rooms, and boardrooms. Unlike standard IP speakers, it combines audio amplification with comprehensive control interfaces, enabling integration with projectors, screens, lighting, shades, and other AV equipment.

Complete Room Control: The T-7705AC can replace multiple dedicated controllers. With RS-232/485, I/O ports, relay, and IR outputs, it can:

  • Control projectors, TVs, and displays via RS-232 or IR
  • Operate motorized screens and shades via relay
  • Trigger lighting scenes via I/O outputs
  • Receive sensor inputs (occupancy, door contacts) via digital inputs
  • Schedule events with real-time clock (bell schedules, automated power-up)

Integrated Audio Amplifier: The 2x20W stereo amplifier drives local speakers for room audio – perfect for presentations, background music, and announcements. MIC and AUX inputs allow local source connection.

Network Integration: All control functions are managed via the T-7700RP server software, allowing centralized scheduling, event programming, and remote monitoring. Multiple T-7705AC units can be coordinated for campus-wide AV control.

DC24V Output: The built-in 24V DC output (500mA) can power external sensors, relays, or small devices, simplifying installation.

RS-232/485 Control

Serial control of projectors, displays, matrix switchers, and other AV equipment. Configurable baud rates, command strings.

IR Learning & Emitter

Learn IR codes from any remote, then transmit via built-in emitters. Control TVs, air conditioners, and other IR devices.

I/O & Relay

Digital inputs for sensors, relay outputs for screens/lights. Trigger events based on room occupancy or manual buttons.

Real-Time Clock

Battery-backed RTC for scheduled events even without network. Ideal for bell schedules and automated routines.

Typical Applications
  • Smart Classrooms: One-touch "Start Class" – projector on, screen down, lights dim, microphone active
  • Meeting Rooms: Control AV system, room scheduling display, occupancy-based lighting
  • Boardrooms: Integrate with videoconferencing systems, control shades and lighting scenes
  • Auditoriums: Centralized control of multiple AV devices with scheduled power-up/down
  • Museums: Trigger audio guides, control exhibit lighting based on occupancy sensors

Integration with Building Management Systems

The T-7705AC can integrate with BMS via its serial ports and I/O. RS-485 allows connection to Modbus networks, and digital inputs can accept signals from fire alarms, security systems, or occupancy sensors. All events are logged on the T-7700 server.

Typical Smart Classroom Wiring

T-7705AC (wall) → RS-232 to projector, IR emitters to TV, relay to screen, DC24V to PIR sensor

Audio outputs to 2x 20W ceiling speakers. MIC input for teacher microphone. AUX input for laptop audio. All controlled via touch panel or scheduled events.
