Product Overview – T-7700A

The T-7700A is a cost-effective, full-featured desktop IP intercom station for the ITC T-7700 Series network audio system. It provides instant two-way communication with any other intercom station, paging microphone, or emergency help point on the network. Its compact footprint and intuitive 7-inch touch interface make it ideal for high-traffic environments where staff need to communicate quickly and clearly.

Clear Audio, Simple Operation: Full-duplex audio with acoustic echo cancellation ensures natural, interruption-free conversations. The built-in 2W speaker provides ample volume for office environments, while the 3.5mm headphone jack allows for private listening. The 7-inch color display shows caller ID, call history, and directory with large, easy-to-press buttons.

Flexible I/O for Automation: A short-circuit input can trigger a call to a preset destination (e.g., security) when a door sensor is activated. The short-circuit output can control an external strobe light or door strike, enabling basic access control or visual alerting directly from the intercom.

Full-Duplex Audio

Simultaneous talk/listen with advanced echo cancellation. Wideband audio (100Hz-7kHz) for exceptional voice clarity.

Short-circuit I/O

1 input, 1 output. Trigger calls from sensors, or activate relays/lights upon call arrival. 5V TTL levels, configurable.

Custom Ring Tones

Upload custom WAV files via server. Differentiate call types (internal, emergency, door) by distinct ring tones.

Typical Applications
  • Reception desks: Call staff in back offices without leaving the desk
  • Nurse stations: Direct communication with patient rooms (via T-7707 series)
  • Security posts: Answer calls from emergency help points, control gates
  • School offices: Intercom with classrooms, make daily announcements
  • Warehouse: Hands-free communication with loading dock intercoms
Power Options

The T-7700A is fully PoE compliant (IEEE 802.3af Class 2). One Ethernet cable carries both data and power. For non-PoE networks, a 12V DC adapter is included. Typical power consumption is only 4-6W.

Important: Model Number Clarification

The T-7700A desktop intercom is distinct from the T-7700A high-performance IP controller (server hardware). Ensure correct model selection when ordering. The desktop intercom is for end-user communication; the controller is the central server. Both share the same model number prefix but are entirely different product categories.

Centralized Management

All T-7700A intercom settings – directory, speed dial, ring tones, I/O actions – are configured and pushed from the T-7700RP server. This enables uniform configuration across hundreds of desktop intercoms with zero local programming.

Firmware & Updates

The T-7700A supports remote firmware upgrade via TFTP/HTTP from the server. New features and security patches are deployed centrally without visiting each desktop station.
